<fsasaki> https://www.w3.org/International/multilingualweb/lt/track/products/6
Now getting ready for the final call
Christian: snx 1 & 2 edits
<fsasaki> see mail to www-international list at http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/www-international/2013AprJun/0092.html
Felix: Idea for next week would be to get the draft ready and technical work shoudl be done
then focus on Outreach efforts for ITS 2.0
dF: provide info in report in multilingual magazine
felix: when is this due
dF: end of JUne
... will need any input by end of this
week
felix: On outreach, we recorded the f2f presentations from dublin,
there were some problems with connectivity, audio.. but the technical work is now done,
we will now do short recordings.. 5 minute short videos
like its and solas, its and MT, etc.
next 4 weeks, will concentrate on preparing for this outreach
All partners should have 1 page description on their webpages
and get the videos ready
will send an email regarding this later in the week
It went well, we had more people online
most participants had heard about ITS previously
so the more in-depth technical discussions took place
One challenge is to how to engage the content creators
Christian: I have a question regarding the outreach videos
will the videos be placed on the partner webpages or on one page?
Felix: One Page
have an ITS channel on youtube?
Christian: will be nice to have a deliverable web page so that links with access to everything is on one age
*page
Felix: the idea for individual partner pages was for online learning materials, while videos will be on one page
<fsasaki> http://www.w3.org/International/its/wiki/Use_cases_-_high_level_summary
Christian: Online Learning materials could be maintained on the page on usage scenarios
the high level summary page (link above)
felix: sounds good
so that evrything can be accessed from one page
<fsasaki> http://www.w3.org/International/its/wiki/ITS_Implementations
This implementation page will also include implementations mentioned in high level summary page
but froma different perspective, different pieces of software e.g. ITS parsers, etc.
software pieces required for the various implementations
One feedback from reviewers: access to the overview of the sofrtware used in the project
that is why we have this page now
It will be complementary to the learning material page, for a different audience
Christian: That is a nice page. We are looking for two types of information:
(1) implementations which can be reused (2) complemetary usage scenarios where the implementtions are used
for videos, we may want to provide guidelines
how to produce them
Felix: anyone on call have nay ideas for this?
... I will
write a few guidelines, e.g. length, no mumbling on audio (clean audio).
Christian: look into set up a youtube channel?
Felix: is there any experience in producing videos amongst partners (cngl)?
dF: It is ok to record on gotomeeting but there are editing issues
Tadej: what other outreach events?
Felix: In September.. participate 19-20 Sept.
... Action
item
for review
Felix: any more questions?
Look at the draft and see if there are other changes to be amde
Also, XML-schema in the draft:
we discussed that schema shoudl not be normative
because of constraints
Felix: AOB?
