1 Linked Data Platform Working Group

Mission: produce a W3C Recommendation for HTTP-based (RESTful) application integration patterns using read/write Linked Data. (See Charter)

1.1 Status

The WG has been officially approved by the W3C and the call for participation marked the official launch of the WG. However, activities haven't actually started yet. People are in the process of joining (for many organizations people have to go through some internal approval process that can take a couple of weeks) and we're in the process of getting things set up. We will soon be communicating details on when teleconferences start. Please, keep an eye on this page for more information as we ramp up.

Because we won't have any face to face meetings before sometime this Fall we're planning on having an informal gathering at the SemTech conference in San Francisco in June to get a chance to meet in person other members of the WG who happen to be at the conference.

LDP BOF will be on Tuesday 6/5 at 12:30pm, Room: Franciscan C after the panel Arnaud participates in. Although this is primarily intended for existing and prospective WG members all interested parties are welcome.
