W3C invites the public to gather for an evening of discussions, networking, and free food and drinks with the W3C community.
Participation in the meetup is open to anyone at no cost, but space is limited. We encourage Web designers and application developers to participate. More on logistics below.

The meetup will take place at the Lyon City Hall (see interactive map):

The presentations and the cocktail hour will happen in the "Grand Salon Justin Godart". During the Second Empire, this 325m2 room was used as a somptous ballroom. The salon is named after Justin Godart, mayor of Lyon from 1944 to 1945 and resistant during World War II.
How to Get to City Hall
The Bus line n°C5 links the Cité Centre de congrès (stop "Musée d'Art Contemporain") to the City Hall. Take the bus going to "Bellecour le Viste" and stop at "Hôtel de Ville Louis Pradel". This bus is accessible to wheelchair users.
More generally, there are many ways to reach City Hall:
- by subway: lines A and C (subway stop is "Hôtel de Ville")
- by bus: C3, C5, C13, C14, C18, n°9, n°19, s1, s6 et s12 (bus stop is "Hôtel de Ville Louis Pradel")
Purchasing tickets
A one way ticket costs €1.60 ("Ticket à l'unité", see other range of tickets).
The public transportation (metro, bus, trolleybus) tickets can be purchased at automatic ticket dispensers, directly in the buses or trolleybus (change is needed) or at the TCL sales offices located outside Gare Part-Dieu station (Monday-Friday: 7:30-19:00, Saturday: 9:00-18:00).
