Welcome

SAZ: not critical mass today
... choppy meetings in August due to regrets and conflict on my side

Continue processing comments

http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-earl10-comments/2011May/0018.html

philip: maybe it is good to include some information about Fail

kostas: more clarifications could be ok especially regarding the high lever requirements

shadi: regarding the clarity of the defintion regarding the two classes it is fine
... add some kind of logic (justification) and reflex the logic
... clarify the requirements a litle bit that EARL is describing the outcomes of evaluation rather than describe the logic

RESOLUTION: Consider clarifying the definition for the TestCriterion subclasses
... The Test Case logic to justify the results is outside the scope of EARL

<shadi> http://www.w3.org/TR/2011/WD-EARL10-Schema-20110510/#TestResult

shadi: there is a distiction between earl?:info (additonal information such as warnings) and dct (actual result in human readable form)

philipA: should keep it as it is

shadi: we need outcome and results in order to give more added value in the descirption of the EARL

RESOLUTION: Changing the EARL model in the proposed way would EARL for instance in cases when outcome value is not applicable

<shadi> http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-earl10-comments/2011May/0020.html

shadi: we will fix the EARL guide section

RESOLUTION: The conformace requirements reflects the latest decision of the group and the other section of the EARL guide will be updated accordingly

<shadi> http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-earl10-comments/2011May/0021.html

philipA: no semantic meaning for the outcome "passed"

RESOLUTION: Literal doesn;t add semantic meaning and is more difficult to process

<shadi> http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-earl10-comments/2011May/0022.html

philipA: location is relevant to the test result and not to the test subject

shadi: we have to improve the owrding

wording

philipA: the pointer is more associated with the result than the object

RESOLUTION: The pointer is more related to the test result than to the test object

<shadi> http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-earl10-comments/2011May/0023.html

shadi: a usually practice tha instances have lowercase
... will check it

<shadi> ACTION: shadi to double-check lowercase vs all uppercase for instances [recorded in http://www.w3.org/2011/08/24-er-minutes.html#action01]

<trackbot> Created ACTION-130 - Double-check lowercase vs all uppercase for instances [on Shadi Abou-Zahra - due 2011-08-31].

<shadi> RESOLUTION: (for issue #2) we do not separate between classes and instances just by casing

<shadi> http://www.w3.org/TR/2011/WD-EARL10-Schema-20110510/#terms-instances

<shadi> earl:passed -- Label = "Pass", Comment = "the class of outcomes to denote passing a test", Title = "Passed", Description = "..."

shadi: maybe we have to rewrite the label and the comment - the label will be the title and the comment the description

<shadi> ACTION: shadi to double-check the conventions for overwriting rdfs:label and rdfs:comment in instances of classes [recorded in http://www.w3.org/2011/08/24-er-minutes.html#action02]

<trackbot> Created ACTION-131 - Double-check the conventions for overwriting rdfs:label and rdfs:comment in instances of classes [on Shadi Abou-Zahra - due 2011-08-31].

Upcoming meeting schedule

<shadi> next meeting: Wednesday 31 August
