Jonghong Jeon has been working for ETRI since 1999. He received his B.S. and M.S. in computer engineering from Hallym University in 1994, in 1996. He started in Protocol Engineering Center to develop the technology and standards for Next Generation Web Technology. He is a team member of the Service Convergence Standards Research Team in Protocol Engineering Center dealing with the Mobile Web.

He has also been actively involved in a long list of international and domestic standardization activities including the following activites: working with W3C since 1994 to develop the Future Web and OneWeb, working with ITU-T since 2005 to develop the web-based convergence service standard in NGN environment. He also works with the following standards development organizations: OMA, ASTAP, ISO, IETF, OASIS.

He is in charge of the Widget AG of Mobile Web 2.0 Forum in Korea, and he is a planner of MobileWebAppsCamp, and he is a technical staff of W3C Korean Office, and he have made many domestic and international standards for the Next Generation Web.

He was organizer of 1st and 2nd AR standardization Workshop in Korea. Recently, He is a Vice Chair of TTA WG6053(Augmented Reality) WG in Korea, and He is a moderator of ARKR(AR Korea) group mailing list.
