I am an active participant in Open IPTV Forum (OIPF) standardization group in the Declarative Application Environment (DAE) Task Force (TF). The OIPF standardization forum looks at end-to-end standardization of TV relates services (like broadcast and VoD) and services rendered on TV, PC and mobiles devices. The DAE TF looks specifically on the web platform and the requirements like Javascript API and embedded video objects for support of broadcast and VoD TV services. My interest is to exchange experiences from this development which is currently finalizing a release 2 of DAE specification. Below is a link to release 1 of the DAE specification.
