ISSUE-5: Clarify the case where the rdf: prefix is bound to another namespace and used in @datatype

@datatype and rdf:XMLLiteral

Clarify the case where the rdf: prefix is bound to another namespace and used in @datatype

State:
CLOSED
Product:
RDFa 1.1 Core
Raised by:
Manu Sporny
Opened on:
2010-02-07
Description:
We need to clarify the case where the rdf: prefix is bound to another namespace and used in @datatype. Suppose one binds xyz: to the RDF namespace and uses it in datatype, like so:

datatype="xyz:XMLLiteral"

Should this generate an XML Literal?

RESOLVED: Add language to the RDFa Core specification that states that when a CURIE in a datatype is expanded, if it is the RDF XMLLiteral URL, generate an XMLLiteral.
