Editorial Pool

Overview

Many groups assign one or two editors per document. In this group the intent is rather to have a pool of editors for each content area (APIs and Policy), and within those areas all editors are expected to work on all documents, covering for one another.

While the WG as a whole has a rather lax approach to enforcing Good Standing, editors are expected to fulfil these conditions. We will naturally talk to involved parties before reaching any conclusion, but editors who do not participate at a level that guarantees Good Standing, should be removed from the editorial pool.
