We have regular telcons (teleconferences enhanced by IRC chat) for those specification that wishes it.

Web Interface

If you do do not have an IRC client, or have trouble connecting to IRC from behind a firewall, W3C offers a browser-based IRC Web interface (note: you must have a Member or Invited Expert account to use this).

DOM3 Events

There is a recurring weekly DOM3 Events telcon, which may be attended by any member of the WebApps Working Group. Doug Schepers <schepers@w3.org> will chair. There is a dedicated IRC channel associated with all meetings, and the minutes will be scribed and made public after Member review. (Note, the time of this telcon may be subject to change, depending upon feedback by the participants.)

Currently, the Widgets group has weekly voice conferences (VC) on Thursdays:
