ISSUE-89

Reduce the length of the header names?

State:
RAISED
Product:
CORS
Raised by:
Anne van Kesteren
Opened on:
2009-06-14
Description:
In

  http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-webapps/2009AprJun/0643.html

Mark Nottingham suggests that we rename the headers used in the protocol as such:

 * CORS-Allow-Origin
 * CORS-Max[-A]ge
 * CORS-Allow-Cred
 * CORS-Allow-Methods
 * CORS-Allow-Headers
 * CORS-Method
 * CORS-Headers

I have explained that we have shipping implementations already, but Mark suggests there could be some grace period where implementations support both.
