zakim, this will be XML_SMLWG
16:21:55 [Zakim]

16:22:33 [lencharest]
Topic: COSMOS test case InvalidMultipleDocument

Ginny: Wouldn't this be detected by normal schema validation?
16:23:46 [Sandy]
Sandy has joined #sml
16:24:10 [lencharest]
John: No, smlif:data is a wildcard.
16:25:17 [johnarwe_]
ginny checked current schema, /data content is wildcard w/ maxoccurs=1 so it should in fact be a schema validation issue. this might not have been true originally (in the Submission)
16:27:49 [lencharest]
Topic: COSMOS test cases where description does not match intent of test
16:28:34 [lencharest]
Ginny: For example, Base64Encoded* tests
16:32:54 [lencharest]
Kumar: I will add disambiguating comments to our feature/test spreadsheet

Microsoft's implementation does not support schema bindings and therefore this implementation is a test for last paragraph of 5.4.3 in IF (construction of default schema)

Description of test InvalidBareNameMultipleSchemes should mention that both refs are sml:uri
17:27:26 [lencharest]
Ginny: Change test s.t. two sml:uri refs that resolve to the *same* target must produce an error

17:30:58 [Kirk]
To answer your question John: Not very well.
17:36:40 [Kirk]
I'm not sure what would help.--and my experience is that other anything probably couldn't be sustained. I can follow points in the discussion. And I have to leave anyway for another call in about an hour.
17:40:55 [Kirk]
That will help somewhat. What line are you on now?
17:41:04 [lencharest]
117
17:41:48 [Kirk]
WOW!! That went fast!!
17:45:28 [lencharest]
Observe that many tests erroneously use two instances of sml:uri in the same ref, thereby making the test itself invalid.
17:46:26 [lencharest]
Some tests can be remediated by simply changing the sml:uri element names to something else.
18:14:18 [lencharest]
Kumar: Will convert spreadsheet to XML and post to public-sml.

zakim, help
18:57:03 [Zakim]
Please refer to http://www.w3.org/2001/12/zakim-irc-bot for more detailed help.
18:57:06 [Zakim]
Some of the commands I know are:
18:57:07 [Zakim]
xxx is yyy - establish yyy as the name of unknown party xxx
18:57:10 [Zakim]
if yyy is 'me' or 'I', your nick is substituted
18:57:12 [Zakim]
xxx may be yyy - establish yyy as possibly the name of unknown party xxx
18:57:14 [Zakim]
I am xxx - establish your nick as the name of unknown party xxx
18:57:16 [Zakim]
xxx holds yyy [, zzz ...] - establish xxx as a group name and yyy, etc. as participants within that group
18:57:18 [Zakim]
xxx also holds yyy - add yyy to the list of participants in group xxx
18:57:21 [Zakim]
who's here? - lists the participants on the phone
18:57:23 [Zakim]
who's muted? - lists the participants who are muted
18:57:25 [Zakim]
mute xxx - mutes party xxx (like pressing 61#)
18:57:28 [Zakim]
unmute xxx - reverses the effect of "mute" and of 61#
18:57:31 [Zakim]
is xxx here? - reports whether a party named like xxx is present
18:57:33 [Zakim]
list conferences - reports the active conferences
18:57:34 [Zakim]
this is xxx - associates this channel with conference xxx
18:57:35 [Zakim]
excuse us - disconnects from the irc channel
18:57:36 [Zakim]

19:13:15 [Kumar]
pratul: we should ask ms about the format in which the note can be published.
19:19:27 [Kumar]
