ISSUE-110: Use of CURIEs in Structural Specification

CURIE vs. QName

Use of CURIEs in Structural Specification

State:
CLOSED

Opened on:

Description:
Recent comments from the Protocols and Formats WG on the Last Call RDFa documents indicate that there may be issues in referencing / following the approach for using namespace prefixes per the CURIE syntax given in http://www.w3.org/TR/2007/WD-curie-20071126/.

These include additional complexity in parsing as well as lack of support in HTML. See http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-rdf-in-xhtml-tf/2008Apr/0031.html for details and potential recommendations.
