Access Control Task Force

*** NOTE *** This Task Force has been closed and all related work is now done by the Working Group.

The Access Control Task Force (TF) is specifying an access control mechanism for XML documents. This TF's parent group is the Web Application Formats (WAF) WG and is composed of members of the WAF, Web APIs and Voice Browser Working Groups. During the WAF WG's 15 Feb 2006 meeting, the group agreed to create this TF to progress the Voice Browser WG's Authorizing Read Access to XML Content Working Group Note to a Recommendation.

The Task Force is Chaired by Brad Porter, as noted in the 22 Feb 2006 WAF meeting. The TF's mail list is member-accesscontrol-tf (see archive).

All technical discussions regarding this TF's document(s) should occur on the W3C's public-appformats mail list, archived here.
