Providing what description is possible is also desired. If the intent of the author in creating the content - or the intent of the page author in putting the content on the page - is known and can be described, this is also very useful

What is this talking about?; Related issues: (space separated ids); WG Notes: [TEAMC] This is referring to the paragraph in the additional information section which begins with, "Sometimes content is primarily intended to create a specific sensory experience". The last few sentences do seem a bit confusing. I suggest replacing the last three sentences with: "For such content, text alternatives at least identify the non-text content with a descriptive label and where possible, some description. If the reason for including the content in the page is known and can be described it is helpful to include that information. " Discussed in the 24 August 2006 telecon: Unanimous Consent: Editors: LC-815, LC-894 DONE change the last three sentences of the paragraph beginining with, "Sometimes content is primarily intended to create a specific sensory experience" to: "For such content, text alternatives at least identify the non-text content with a descriptive label and where possible, some descriptive text. If the reason for including the content in the page is known and can be described it is helpful to include that information. "; Resolution: We have updated that paragraph to remove references to "intent of the page author".; (Please make sure the resolution is adapted for public consumption)
