1 Introduction

This document describes the namespace http://www.w3.org/2005/xquery-local-functions/ of the XQuery 1.0: An XML Query Language specification (January 2007 version).

For updated information, please refer to the latest version of the XQuery 1.0: An XML Query Language specification.

This document describes the names that are defined in this namespace at the time of publication. The W3C reserves the right to define additional names in this namespace in the future. XQuery 1.0: An XML Query Language is the only specification which may amend this namespace.
