Description:
How far should metadata and Comments survive the RIF processing chain? Should really be a part of any "metadata" issue - are RIF processors required to keep certain metadata, or are they allowed to ignore it?

At the Galway F2F10, the WG resolved to close this issue. The BLD conformance section will be updated to reflect that "metadata *should* survive translation to/from RIF."
