Scroll wins!
Field Trial is under way and we have results to report back to the group. So far users’ preferred method of navigation on a mobile device is to scroll rather than use a next option. However, we have added more questions to the survey in order to provide more statistics from the trial. The final results with these statistics will be distributed by 28/9/05 but we can assume that the results won’t change significantly.
We have recently asked the following questions of the group:
How often they use WAP
How often they browse the Web on a mobile
If they are more likely to browse the Web from a mobile if the user experience was better.
We didn’t want to ask too many questions in case the group wanted to avail of trialists to find out more information that could help us make some firm decisions. We have just over 4,000 participants from around the world, including the average Jo right up to VPs working for brands such as Warner and Samsung.
