A very strong case was made for #uri 's as a MUST by timbl, Alex Bertails, ...
TimBL explained his concern about hashless URIs based on performance issues experienced via the combination of Tabulator and Firefox.
My counter position (and Ted's) was that this isn't a good enough reason to add hash URI specificity to the definition of WebID when such specificity doesn't apply to Linked Data as exemplified in TimBL's Linked Data meme -- where HTTP URIs are the designated denotation mechanism.
