  • Discussion about requirements from the user side and the standardization organization
    • Dieter Fensel:
      • W3C may not be the correct body for content, rather for layering USDL on top of something
      • W3C XG focus should be:
        • how to ground USDL on existing Web Standards, e.g., on SML ==> layer USDL on top of SML
        • How to link to W3C recommendations
      • W3C did not standardize FOAF
      • SML seems to be similar to RIF (http://www.w3.org/2005/rules/wiki/RIF_Working_Group)
    • Roland Hedberg: can send use cases
    • Daniel Oberle:
      • variation management is important
      • Comprehensibility (e.g., graphical representation)
    • Kostas Koutsikos: some ideas on feedback, follow up in a couple of weeks
    • Norbert Weißenberg: some ideas on feedback, need to write that down
    • Jan Weerts: comparability of certain aspects

  • Outlook
    • Speficic Calls:
      • tomorrow on Linked Open Data
      • On Feb 16 about related work
      • On Mar 09 about extension mechanism
