New Members

Welcome to the Open Web Alliance Incubator Group!

The first and most important step in participating in this Incubator Group (XG) is making sure we have clear communication. Since this group is chartered to operate in public, please be advised that everyone who joins the group will be subscribed to the W3C OWEA public mailing list, public-xg-owea@w3.org.

This group also uses the OWEA Basecamp site to manage calendars, agendas, and other details. If you have not already been contacted about setting up an account, please send a email to the chairs of this group, John Allsopp and Glenda Sims, or to the public list. Posts to the OWEA Basecamp forums will be sent to the public OWEA mailing list, so take care not to send confidential information via the forum or mailing list.

The OWEA XG holds its teleconferences on the the W3C Zakim phone bridge, and chats on the W3C IRC channel (chat room) #owea (irc://irc.w3.org, port 6665). IF you have questions about any of this information, please contact Doug Schepers.

Another important part of the OWEA effort is building community and a good working relationship among the members of the group itself. To that end, we ask that new members add their bio to OWEA:Community_Portal add their picture and contact info to the OWEA Participants Page via the profile editor, and send in.
