TPAC, November 2011
Santa Clara, California, USA
The main documents that we will discuss at the F2F are the following 3. Note that the plan is to fold the last 2 into the first. The current version of the Final Report has a section 3.6 where the Protocol (section 3.6.1) and Web API (section 3.6.2) belong.
When combined, the draft final report will be available at http://www.w3.org/2005/Incubator/htmlspeech/finalreport/XGR-htmlspeech.html.
It looks like we will have a speakerphone in the room, although from experience earlier in the week it can be difficult at times for callers to hear. Nevertheless, it is here if you wish to join us.
There are only a very limited number of channels available, since I expect only Olli, Bjorn, and Satish, at most, to use it. If you are interested in calling in and are not one of these three people, please contact me or Michael Bodell to check with us first about availability.
Here's the info:
16:00-01:00 UTC (12:00pm-9:00pm Boston local) Zakim Bridge +1.617.761.6200, conference 773324 ("SPEECH") See http://www.w3.org/2002/01/UsingZakim.
The schedule is as follows:
0900: Begin
~1030: Morning break
~1300: Lunch
~1530: Afternoon break
1730: End
The high level agenda is to start with the examples and work through those and then move to the issues. If the group likes, we could reverse this order and move from the issues to the examples. Yes, this is different that what was originally proposed.
After that, we will review the compiled draft final report document for updates to the requirements and/or design decisions, editing live if possible. After lunch on Friday we will discuss next steps, including possible WG chartering, and then use any remaining time to continue work on the draft final report.
