• A position paper describing the incubator effort, entitled "A Decision-making Format for the Semantic Web", has been accepted as a short paper for presentation in the poster session at the 2nd Workshop on Ontology Patterns at the International Semantic Web Conference 2010.

What's New? (Dec 9, 2010)

• The Decision Incubator Meeting is Today Dec 9 10am EST: We are pleased to have The Mitre Corporation (Dr. Gary Klein and Dr. Jill Drury) presenting an overview of their research exploring the weighting strategies used by decision makers for valuing the relative robustness of options presented in the decision space. Dr. Eva Blomqvist will update us on the ISWC Workshop on Ontology Patterns and her poster on "A Decision-making Format for the Semantic Web". See the agenda for today's Dec 9 meeting for details and call-in info.
• An RDF version of the Common Decision Exchange Protocol (CDEP) Examples is now available, see CDEP Examples in RDF. The previous XML version is at CDEP Examples in XML.

• The last Decision Incubator Meeting was Jan 6, 2011 10am EST: We reviewed our status and discussed our tasks and schedule for completing our incubator work over the next three months. See the agenda here. The minutes of the meeting can be found here.

• The Decision Incubator Meeting is Jan 13, 2011 10am EST: We will review a proposed question pattern and review any remaining patterns needed to complete the decision format. See the agenda here.

What's New? (Jan 26, 2011)

• Take a look at the nice Decision Question Pattern ontology submitted by Piotr Nowara, which includes a working example.
• The next Decision Incubator Meeting is Thursday, Jan 27, 2011 10am EST: We will review Piotr's submission as well as any other contributions by participants to cover the needed components to represent a Decision. We'll also organize any planned participant contributions to generate the final report, and we'll consider participant interest in transitioning incubator activity to a more formal Working Group.

What's New (March 20, 2011)

• The next meeting of the Decision Incubator is Thursday, Mar 24, 2011 10am EST: We will review the draft of our final report and prepare for our final meeting on April 7 where we will approve our final report. We will also do a final review of our draft working group charter for forward to W3C staff for consideration.
