RDF and OWL for representing collections and sequences

In RDF there are language elements for expressing the most common things, e.g., bags, lists etc. In this RDF tutorial there is a section about containers and one about collections that can be interesting to read. However, these constructs do not create containers and collections that can be referred to and "talked about". If you want to model specific collections/lists etc. that can be referenced and reasoned on, you need to do this in OWL. There are some proposals how to model sets, lists etc. in OWL; there are the SWAN ontologies and also the ODPs for collections and sequences.
