On the left hand side there must be a SVG with a square viewBox and content exceeding this viewBox, rendered to a non square, tall destination box (objects width:100px and height:100%).
While the viewBox (black stroke) must be vertically centered into this destination box, the SVG-content exceeding the viewBox (truncated, blue circles) may not be clipped and must therefore be visible above and beyond the viewBox.
