This is a brief statement by MobileAware to the W3C Mobile Web Initiative.
MobileAware supplies multi-channel multi-device content adaptation and delivery solutions to mobile operators and enterprises. MobileAware is an active W3C member, participating in the Device Independence Working Group. Recognising the challenges of device independence, MobileAware has explored and developed techniques to create and adapt content for the mobile market. The solutions we offer are based on W3C technologies, with XHTML playing a significant role in our authoring solutions. Our adaptation engines can support a wide variety of target devices, including hundreds of mobile phones, PDAs and similar devices, in addition to traditional PC-based browsers.
Recently, MobileAware hosted the W3C Workshop on Metadata for Content Adaptation . This was a significant milestone in the evolution of W3C technologies towards an all-inclusive Web.
MobileAware is exploring the Mobile Web with its industry partners. We are conferring openly with other solution providers, customers, mobile operators, users and other interested parties.
It is our intention to participate in the Mobile Web Initiative Workshop, to share our experience, to learn from others and to help make the Mobile Web a reality. For further information, visit our website at http://www.mobileaware.com/
