- Generic framework for a UA to describe the device characteristics,
context, and user's preferences / constraints
- 4 elements:
- Structure: generic
- Vocabulary: application specific
- Transport Protocol: partly application specific
- Processing Rules: partly generic but using the vocabulary, and
working through the protocol
