<SRT> The aim of the agenda item was to look at Patent policy from a high level and understand how and when groups want to deal with this from their chairs perspective and then from the groups perspective.

Steve: based on discussions at the plenary, there may be interest in colocating meetings
WSCWG tries to meet every 2 months the next one is scheduled for May 11-13 at Oracle on the West Coast we are working on organizing a meeting in July we have constraints: we would like to accomodate invited experts by locating the meeting in their area the third F2F would be at the beginning of October we were hoping to have a meeting in Japan; however, the membership isn't too happy about going to JapanHugo: in my opinion, you should look at whether key players would come to Japan to make sure that you can make progress at this meeting
MSM: meetings in far-away locations are increasingly hard to organize; however, as a consortium, it's difficult for organizations in places far-away from the US to participate, so we need to consider those proposals with due respect
Steve: for our last F2F, we have decided not to go to Australia, hosted in England, and didn't get more people participating
Hugo: have your Asian members been pushing for a meeting in their area?
