Description:
Something which crops up from time to time within BT
and which was discussed at some length within the
Web services Addressing WG* is the representation
of a duration.

XML Schema provides the xs:duration datatype, but
this can be inconvinient for databinding tools,
in particular when comparing durations which are
partially ordered. e.g is 30 days longer than one month?

What advice should we give for representing durations?
