ISSUE-39: Allow open set of events with reserved event names

Allow open set of events with reserved event names

State:
CLOSED
Product:
MMI Architecture
Raised by:
James Barnett
Opened on:
2007-06-19
Description:
The current spec lists a fixed set of lifecycle events, with the \'data\' event as
the extension point. It might be simpler to define a general <event name=\"..\">
structure, and then convert the current list of lifecycle events into a reserved
list of event names. So the IM and modality components could send any events
they wanted using this generic structure, but would be required to behave in
specified ways when they got events with reserved names.
