MathML2.0 was finished February 2001. No new spec scheduled. However the WG is still active doing:

• Maintainance: errata for DOM, DTD, spec. Updates on character sets, test suite
• writing an XML Schema
• working on converting legacy TeX to MathML
• Adoption: MathML conference, The Pan-Galactic stylesheet.
