This is a text version of the public questionnaire: "DDWG Core Vocabulary contribution form" We recommend that you only use this review form if you are unable to use the online questionnaire, which is available at: https://www.w3.org/2002/09/wbs/1/ddwg-core-vocab-public-form/ If you choose to send in this questionnaire form instead of using the online questionnaire, please mail the completed form to member-ddwg@w3.org by 31 May 2008 at 23:59 Boston Time. The online questionnaire helps the W3C Team reduce errors and to compute results automatically. If you believe there is a technical reason why you are unable to use the online questionnaire, please send the relevant information to Dominique Hazael-Massieux (dom@w3.org), copying w3t-sys@w3.org, but in the meantime we welcome your email response to this form. Thank you. ===================== Questionnaire starts I, --------------------------------- Property description ---- Describe the property with as much precision as possible. * Example: "The total number of addressable pixels in the horizontal direction of a rectangular display when held in its default orientation. The property does not apply to screen shapes that are not rectangular or square." --------------------------------- Property measurement ---- How is the property measured? Indicate the "well known" units normally used, or range of values, or enumerated set of values. * Example: "The pixels are counted from the top left corner to the top right corner, and the result expressed as an integer whose units are 'pixels'." --------------------------------- Property type ---- Indicate the data type that would be used with the measurement indicated above. Typical types include integers, non-negative integers, reals, fractions, strings. * Example: "Non-negative integer." --------------------------------- Justification for addition ---- Give your justification for the property being in the core vocabulary. Be as detailed as you can. * Example: "Needed to fit/crop images, text or other width-adaptable content to the screen. Especially useful for LTR and RTL content, where vertical scrolling would be the norm but horizontal scrolling is not desirable. Identified as an important property by the DDWG in its Top N finding. Present in UAProf. Present (and used) in existing adaptation solutions." These answers were last modified on by
