Position paper on the W3C Workshop on Delivery Context

Motive: 
I would like to participate in this workshop in order to grasp 
a technical trend regarding content adaptation, since the workshop was 
introduced to the ad hoc group on MPEG-21 Digital Item Adaptation(DIA) 
which is deliberating upon multimedia content adaptation in MPEG-21.
I may introduce the activity and the Call for Proposals on MPEG-21 DIA
briefly, although there is no concrete proposal.

Main purpose:
I want to investigate the standard (e.g., formal use of the CC/PP 
stndard) of the context delivery system in order to substantialize 
a multimedia content adaptation in accord with a user's context.

Related activity:
CfP is due for Digital Item Adaptation to be adopted as Part 7
of MPEG-21 as a standard item, and to be published in March.
In MPEG, standardization of contents description is completed by MPEG-7 
and standardization of user environmental description is 
under discussion.
