A Semantic Web Based Framework for Quality Assurance of Electronic Medical Records Data for Secondary Use

Arthur Ryman - Lightening talk
This is an experience paper from the healthcare domain where XML is currently used for records. The authors converted a UML model to OWL and used SPIN to validate the integrity constraints. They refer to this as a Quality Assurance (QA) framework. However, it appears to be a direct application of OWL and SPIN, as opposed to a new solution. I think it would be useful to understand their experience from the point of view of their requirements and how SPIN addressed them. Since a new solution is not proposed, I think this could be a Lightning Talk.
